The City of New Westminster and Energy Save New West are pleased to announce that Terratek Energy has been selected as the preferred vendor for the design, installation and commissioning of the Urban Solar Garden’s 50 kW solar PV array.
Terratek Energy is one of the most experienced grid tie solar PV installers in British Columbia. Since 2005, Terratek has installed over 300 solar PV systems for residential, commercial and institution clients including:
- 170 kW of total renewable energy at five (5) community locations in Haida Gwaii
- 124 kW solar PV array for Westcoast General Hospital
- 102 kW solar PV array for Penticton Secondary School
- 5 kW solar PV array for St. Mary’s Hospital
As the Urban Solar Garden moves into the design and construction phase this Spring, the City of New Westminster is also excited to confirm that Queensborough Community Centre has been selected as the preferred City building for the roof top solar PV array.
